TOWNSHIP 7 GRAPE STOMP

Langley

Monster Mash Grape Stomp

Remember the ‘I Love Lucy’ show when Lucy and Ethel were doing the wine stomp??
What a scene!! I can only imagine how this is going to play out at Township 7 today. Apparently 28 teams are signed up for this spectacle….The teams have to pick up the grapes from the bins, run them over to the barrels, stomp on them till the juice runs free.(this can be painful, but leaves your feet smooth as a babies bottom) then they have to fill the wines bottles with the juice and cork it…WOW, this is a serious commitment!! Check it out!

Get hands on with the harvest. Enjoy fun for the whole family with our second annual grape stomp. We’ll have a children’s play area, new fall wine releases, and live music by our “house” band We Play for Wine. Come with a team or join one of ours! Admission is by donation with proceeds in support of Critter Care Wildlife Society. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic or purchase from our local charcuterie menu. Bring your friends, sit by the fire and enjoy Township 7 wines — we’re open all day from 11 am to 6 pm.
