The recipients
I’m delighted to present a $5,000 cheque to the Surrey Homelessness and Housing fund.
I was also the beneficiary of help when I needed it most, a date that also coincides with the founding of my catering company, Cuisine and Company.
As a small business owner I am very aware that I am still dependent upon others for my continued success. It is my way of saying “thank you” to the greater community for putting me in a position where I can give back in this small way.
My thanks to Surrey’s Mayor Diane Watts, Councillor Judy Villeneuve and the Society’s board members for all you are doing to combat homelessness and creating community and respect for our most vulnerable population.
